Comprising two parcels of land at 6 Coffey Road and 341 Beenyup Road, the property spans a total of 4.48 hectares and features an architecturally significant Chinese-style mansion. Though somewhat dilapidated, the mansion’s cultural significance and majestic design—built with materials sourced directly from China—drew widespread interest from both local and international buyers.
The campaign for the Banjup property achieved exceptional visibility, featuring in over 13 publications with a combined audience reach of more than 3 million people. The distinctiveness of the property made it a focal point across various media platforms, sparking record-breaking enquiry levels for an EPS campaign. In just two weeks, EPS received over 250 inquiries from all corners of Australia and internationally, including the USA, Singapore, China, and Malaysia. This included interest from high-net-worth Asian buyers, institutions, and associations, with multiple cash offers and requests for quick settlements. Some buyers were even willing to purchase sight unseen, underscoring the property’s unique appeal and investment potential.
Given the overwhelming interest, our high-net-worth offshore client accepted a cash, unconditional offer before the auction date, leading to the cancellation of the scheduled auction. This decision highlighted the strong market demand and the effectiveness of EPS’ targeted marketing efforts.
